We wanted to extend our acoustic product offering and have now InfiniSpring® Acoustic Wall Ties for soundproofed walls available. Acoustic wall tie designs are presented below and both designs utilize standardized InfiniSpring®-spring plate and connection parts. InfiniSpring® Acoustic Wall Ties decouple walls and cut off noise from around 14 Hz upwards. We hear sounds from about 20 Hz to 20 kHz. This range is also a commonly referenced audio frequency range. InfiniSpring®-springs function as low pass filters in the audio frequency range.
Wall ties are typically installed between a fixed wall and a plasterboard wall. The plasterboard wall is installed resiliently, and the plasterboard wall can be constructed using steel profiles or structural laminated veneer lumber. Another option is to install both walls resiliently. Typical applications consist of music rooms, recording studios, cinemas, residential and office buildings, nightclubs, concert venues, industrial developments, and laboratories.
Acoustic wall ties follow EN 14195 standard requirements. Declaration of Performance and CE-marking have been completed for the acoustic wall ties.

The Acoustic Wall Tie 128NN consists of a spring plate and two nail plates. The distance between the nail plates is 128 mm. Other lengths can be made as well. Acoustic wall tie installation is made using nail plates. Figure 2 below shows the installation.

The second developed acoustic wall tie design is Acoustic Wall Tie 94NA. Acoustic Wall Tie 94NA is equipped with a nail plate and a 90-degree bend on the other side. Figure 2 below shows the wall tie design.

The Acoustic Wall Tie 94NA consists of a spring plate, an angle plate, and a nail plate. The distance between the nail plate and the angle plate end is 94 mm. Other dimensions can be made as well. Acoustic wall tie installation is made using the nail plate and the angle plate. Figure 4 below shows the installation.
