Vibration Isolation of Engine-Generator Sets Using InfiniSpring® Technology

InfiniSpring® technology has been successfully applied to reduce vibration in an internal combustion engine-generator set as part of the CASEMATE research project, led by the University of Oulu. By designing InfiniSpring® springs into the mounting system of a 1100 kg AGCO Power unit operated by Global Boiler Works Oy, the project demonstrated significant improvements in vibration isolation without modifying the original equipment. Simulation and measurement results confirmed high isolation efficiency across a wide range of operating speeds, paving the way for future innovations in resilient mounting solutions.

Vibrating Conveyor Prototype Powered by InfiniSpring®

Vibrating conveyor prototype is incorporating InfiniSpring®-springs in a clever and efficient way. The conveyor is constructed entirely from sheet metal steel, manufactured exclusively using laser cutting. It is powered by an eccentric motor with adjustable speed, and the system allows for changes in both motor RPM and spring angle.

InfiniSpring®-springs have been tested using static overloads to see their creep-aging performance. Static tensile overload tests started 18.6.2024 and spring openings were measured regularly.

We have done several tests for the InfiniSpring® Acoustic Products during last year. The fail-safe system was tested for the acoustic hanger AH60N and the plastic deformation capacity was tested for the acoustic wall tie AWT94NA. Please read more and see the videos.

Building Instruction for Heat Pump Floor Stand

We have building instructions for the heat pump outdoor unit floor stand available. InfiniSpring® 3HS20 Isolator is for 10-20 kg weight load, which can be used for outdoor units weighing from 30-60 kg (3 x 3HS20 spring isolators).

InfiniSpring® Acoustic Direct Hanger 60-7kg and Low Height Acoustic Ceilings

InfiniSpring® is a thin spring and this offers possibilities for space savings in vibration and noise isolation applications. To minimize the space above the visible soundproofed ceiling we developed a new type of acoustic direct hanger solution, which enables extremely low height soundproofed suspended ceilings. In buildings lower space can minimize the building costs and lower height rooms can be equipped with soundproof suspended ceilings.
